ECRI and FCNM
Both the Framework Convention on National Minorities and the European Commission on Racism and Intolerance have released reports on Ireland in the past month. These reports can be found below and both have strong recommendations on Traveller issues.

Back to School Clothing and Footwear Allowance

The Back to School Clothing and Footwear Allowance (BTSCFA) helps you meet the cost of uniforms and footwear for children going to school. The 2019 scheme opens on 1 June 2019. However, application forms will be available from 24 June 2019.

Priority application dates are Thursday 13 June for renewal applications and Thursday 11 July for new applications. Applications received before the priority application dates will be prioritised by SUSI.

The Male Advice Line offers confidential advice and support to Male victims of domestic violence and abuse over the phone. The Male Advice Line is managed by the Men’s Development Network and is supported and funded by Tusla’s Domestic, Sexual and Gender based violence section.
