Congratulation to Singer of the Year – Thomas McCarthy. Thomas McCarthy was the first Traveller to receive the TG4 Gradam Ceoil traditional music awards Amhránaí na Bliana/Singer of the Year. TG4 describes Thomas McCarthy as having a voice of great strength, tone, character and beauty. His technique is a joy to listen to. His art is particularly illustrative of the power of storytelling through song, beyond simply singing the song.

Childen’s Rights Alliance Report Card

Children Alliance Report Card 2019.The poorest marking ever (F) in terms of Child & Family Homelessness. The second worst marking (D-) is for Traveller & Roma Children(the only other D- is in area of Mental Health). You can see an overview of the marking on p6. The Government gets an F for its performance regarding children`s homelessness overall.
